Summary: Complete tasks that support our overall marketing initiatives. This position works closely with other marketing professionals to develop campaign strategies, implement marketing activities to create awareness, elevate visibility of the PGA National Resort’s brand, services, and amenities.


Essential Job Functions: Including the following. Other job duties may be assigned.

  • Strong organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to positively collaborate with on-property team members, agency partners, and 3rd party vendors.
  • Support LinkedIn marketing updates and PGA National Resort brand
  • Assist in coordinating creative, developing creative and marketing project requests.
  • Support in coordinating and organizing details for photoshoots.
  • Coordinate reservations, amenities, and appointments for media visitors, VIPs, and social influencers.
  • Assist with processing and tracking invoice payments.
  • Support the Marketing Director in additional administrative duties, answering telephones, handling departmental inquiries.
  • Assist with the planning, coordinating, and assembling materials needed for sales events, shows, conferences, and meetings – as requested.
  • Maintaining an inventory and directory of sales support materials making sure all resources are accurate and current, while coordinating new material creation - as needed.
  • Continually seeking and researching new sources of prospective customers, while providing recommendations to marketing and sales leadership
  • Be interested in marketing, including channels, segments, and demographics, and able to support – as needed.
  • Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Capture communications and notes during meetings

Language Skills: Exceptional written, verbal, and written skills including etiquette and ability to work with the public. Knowledge of communications skills, exceptional organization skills, ability to deal with diverse clientele, golf knowledge and or marina experience is an advantage.

Reasoning Ability: Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee must be able to spend 50% of the working day sitting and the other 50% standing or walking. Must be able to walk entire length of property for site inspections. Ability to read a computer screen from a distance of 1-3 feet. The employee is required regularly to use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools, or controls. The employee is frequently required to talk or listen. Must present self in a mature professional manner.
